Omg. HELLO FELLAS. I am actually updating my blog in like... *counting* 5 months or so.
It has been a crazy crazy long time since I've updated my blog. And suddenly I feel like I have so much things to write about but I guess it'll slip my mind sooner or later =/

Anyways, about my 'academic' life, I'm currently in my 3rd semester at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. Just so you didn't know, ADP got moved to the Lakeside Campus and I must say I'm quite satisfied with everything they have to offer so far, EXCEPT the food pricing. Although it is understandable that the cafeteria has to charge higher prices due to the rent and stuff. And its such a nice place. And most people would think that Taylor's is a place for rich kids to study so there shouldn't be a problem.... right? WRONG >.> Freaking stereotypes...

Moving on... The classrooms are. Freaking. Cold. At certain points of time of course. At first we couldn't figure out how to make the temperature warmer, but then we realized the existence of a thermostat (LOL), courtesy of my calculus lecturer Mr Phang. AND SPEAKING OF CALCULUS, I THINK IS JUST F***KING SCREWED HIS TEST TODAY -_- The average score of the class was a 2.2 out of 6. Now that is just screwed. Seriously screwed if you ask me.

I am finally taking Biology this semester (I know its kinda late to mention since the semester is finishing in a few weeks time but its related to my major and its my fav sub :D) and I must say I have never been as interested as I was in high school. All these new concepts and theories just sorta interests me, and I can read the textbook on and on (and not remembering what I read afterwards LOL). Bios logos, certainly the study of life.

The other two subjects I am taking are American Government and Malaysian Studies (screw this bigtime). Out of my expectations, both subjects are actually quite similar, just that one talks about American politics while the other is mainly about, duh, Malaysia. Malaysian Studies, is hella boring. My gosh, I wonder how I go through his classes sometimes. Sorry Mr. Izwan =/ As for American Government, I guess its slowly opening my eyes and thoughts in the political world. Ah well, maturity has its ways of manifestation xD

And now for the entertainment part of my life, my Simplez gang (consisting of Nick, Seng Wai, Kar Hoong, and occasionally Zhen Yu) would meet up every Saturday for a game of badminton and most of the time, have dinner together. This is definitely a wonderful past time to have. You meet up with friends, catch up with them, have a nice talk about what happened during the week, and of course reminisce about high school times. You just gotta miss high school at some point in life.
I've also have multiple gangs in college now. During my first and second semesters, I was very much frequently seen hanging out with my one and only original gang consisting of On Tao, Tina, Shin Lin and Teng Hooi. The gang that meets during orientation usually progresses to become a very close friendship throughout the college years. As time moved on I began to get acquainted with more and more people, and it wasn't long before I mixed in with others like Shahriman, Yunie, Mesyaira, Vivek, Yin Ling, Thilagan etc etc.

And now in Lakeside campus, I most frequently mix around with Justin (both Chua and Yeo-ber xD), Alexander HALL, Vince and Mike. Our main interests revolve around StarCraft II, and more recently, MapleSEA (Fornax world). Now that I've mentioned those, its time to move on to my 'profession' so to speak, in the gaming world.

As you might have noticed, yes, I have bought the ORIGINAL StarCraft II, and I have now got a valid battle.net Sc2 account to play from. I'm not a hardcore Sc2 gamer, but I can say that I have quite a bit of knowledge about the game and I do play from time to time with Mike, Justin Chua, Vince and Alex. Sometimes just any two of us can party up and start searching for matches. And recently before Season 1 just ended, Justin and I managed to get placed in the PLATINUM league for the 2v2 matchups, which was a VERY unexpected surprise. I realized that I was better in team play matches such as 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 but when it comes to 1v1 I kinda suck alot, mainly because I couldn't really focus on so many things at a particular time. And at times, I may even forget to execute vital steps like teching up or researching upgrades, and I rarely scout which is actually my worst bad habit.

Maple-wise, I've decided to open up a new character in Fornax to join my college buds, and its also gonna be a Fighter since I'm more proficient with melee classes (especially Hero), so why not? And if you guys want to play, just add 'SerenityLake' in Fornax xD. To my surprise I could actually get from Lv1~Lv30 in 7 hours without 2x (inclusive of 1 hour dinner time). I do go on my Bootes Hero (ZeroEnergy) from time to time but I won't really be playing it, at least until Big Bang patch has arrived. Stay tuned folks! Big Bang will reach the boundaries of SEA on 18th of May! The only thing I hate about this is that it is released SO LATE! It's released 2 days after my semester break ends (16th). Darn it all. Well that could mean that I can focus more on StarCraft II or Cabal.

Which brings me to my next game, Cabal. I have not been really active in Cabal recently. To be honest, there is nothing much left for me to do especially with all the time constraints. My Warrior, having just average equips, is definitely not really in the shape to go to war and compete with all those overfunded mith amp users. I use it mainly for dungeoning purposes now since dungeons are nerfed, I can just go with two other friends. I have accidentally leveled my FS to 110 for some goddamn reason, and now I can't participate in the 109 tier war anymore. Sigh. I'll just have to settle for 139, and before that I have to get to at least Lv135 as well to be more effecient. Make that the same case for my FB as well (Lv12x). Great, more grinding. I trained up a FA to Lv105 and to my disappointment, it did not performed as good as I had expected. FA is surprisingly more fragile in war than I had anticipated, though damage-wise it was still satisfactory. From that one war, I have realized that my ability to maneuver the FA around was very, handicapped-like. I guess I was born to play melee classes, not magic classes. The flexibility that I always had when playing a WA,FS,FB, or BL, I could not perform it on my FA, and I guess that led to my downfall in that particular war. I wanted to create a new WA (yes, another one) for Procyon 109 tier war so I tried to delete my Blader but apparently now you cannot delete characters that are above Lv100 (my Blader is 126) unless you send in a report via iBox and do some verification. This just pisses me off. I'll just stick with CynthiaCarnage (107 cap WA) then ~_~

Hrmm.... Well finals are coming in around three weeks time. Not much time left, gotta start bucking and gearing up before it actually hits. And for now I still have a Malaysian studies presentation (tomorrow), a Biology test, a Biology Presentation and an American Government mid term exam to cover. All of these in this month of April, before finals (25th). So April is kind of like an unlucky month for me now. So yeah, I guess I'll be going off now.

And for the record, Rebecca Black has made me officially hate Fridays for some odd reason. Maybe because its Fried Egg now? You decide.

End of First Semester

Today's the first day of my holidays (well, the last day for final exams but I have no paper). I suppose that college life is considerably quite different compared to high school life, especially since ADP follows the American system of studying. The way they evaluate your performance is different as well (but screw the passing mark of 70% ==).

One of the best things about studying at Taylors is definitely the library and the Mezzanine floor. Well air-conditioned, free computer to use (unbelievably slow though) with internet access and a discussion room. The Mezzanine floor has computers to use too, but it also contains a ping pong table, a small gym and a nice LCD TV that just got added recently. I just go to either places whenever I'm bored.

Another thing to really talk about is the food. Since I started college, I've been to many of the nearby food outlets and I must say some of them have really good food and I enjoy going there over and over again for lunch :D And well, I guess I'm gonna make a small review.

The Pl@ce Cafe
Whenever I come here, I eat nothing else besides Garlic fried rice and chicken popcorn. Cheap price, clean place, comfortable environment. One of the best outlets in the area.

Pontian Wanton Mee
Best wanton mee you can find in the area. The fried wanton is delicious as well.

Noodle Station
Been here only once, but the drinks are superb, not to mention a clean and cooling environment.

Cassian Kitchen
The mushroom soup here is definitely worth the money, and the fried rice gets two thumbs up from me.

A Funny Classification Essay

For this post I'm gonna post a short classification essay (you can use it for your reference the next time you write one xD) that my PASS session leader passed to me. It's quite funny and true at the same time.

Shopping at the Pig

Working part-time as a cashier at the Piggly Wiggly has given me a great opportunity to observe human behavior. Sometimes I think of the shoppers as white rats in a lab experiment, and the aisles as a maze designed by a psychologist. Most of the rats--customers, I mean--follow a routine pattern, strolling up and down the aisles, checking through my chute, and then escaping through the exit hatch. But not everyone is so dependable. My research has revealed three distinct types of abnormal customer: the amnesiac, the super shopper, and the dawdler.

The amnesiac stops his car in the loading zone, leaves the engine running with the keys locked inside, and tries to enter the store by crashing into the exit door. After dusting himself off and slipping through the entrance, he grabs a cart and begins hurtling down the aisles against the normal flow of traffic. "Peaches or potatoes?" he mutters to himself. "Doughnuts or Ding Dongs?" He has, of course, left his shopping list at home. When he finally makes it to my register and starts unloading the cart, he suddenly remembers the jug of milk or the loaf of bread that brought him here in the first place. He then resumes his race around the store while the customers waiting in line begin to grumble, tap their feet, and rattle the rack of Stars and National Enquirers. Inevitably, of course, when it comes time to pay for the goods, the amnesiac discovers that he has left his wallet at home. Without saying a word, I void his receipt and lend him a coat hanger.

The super shopper has been planning her assault for days. She enters the store with a pocketbook on her arm, a coupon purse around her neck, a calculator in her pocket, and in her hand a shopping list that makes the Dewey Decimal System look downright chaotic. With military-like efficiency, she trundles her cart from one sale item to another, carefully organizing them in her basket by size, weight, and shape. Rarely, however, does she make it through the store without a breakdown: either the Charmin has been moved to a different shelf or else some poor stock clerk has forgotten to replenish a supply of Cool Ranch Doritos. Usually the manager has to be called in to settle her down and set her back on course. Then, when she reaches my lane, she begins barking orders: "Double bag the Creamsicles! Twelve-cents off on Jell-O! Don't put the grapes in with the Nutty Ho Hos!" In the meantime, she glares at the prices blinking on the register, just waiting to pounce on me for making an error. If my total doesn't match the one on her calculator, she insists on a complete recount. Sometimes I make up the difference myself just to get her out of the store.

The dawdler wanders in as if he had been looking for the library and arrived here by mistake. He tours the aisles slowly, pausing often to read a box of Froot Loops, squeeze a dinner roll, or sniff one of those lemon-scented rubber blobs of room freshener. However, he seldom ends up buying many of the things he picks up. When he finally strolls up to the checkout, the dawdler likes to settle in for a chat--about my hair style, his bunions, or that nice Yanni tune tinkling out of the ceiling speakers. Although the people waiting behind him in line are fuming, I try to be friendly, knowing that this must be the major social event of the dawdler's week.

To be truthful, most of the people who pass through my checkout are quietly efficient and polite--and a little boring. Though the abnormal ones may try my patience, they also help to make a dull job more interesting. So, for your own amusement keep an eye out for these characters the next time you pull into the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly: a fellow trying to unlock his car with a coat hanger, a woman fussing at the bag boy for squashing a grape, and a sweet old man who may try to tell you about the arthritis in his knees or the expiration date on his buttermilk.

Blackrock & Roll

唉，这次被三个傻佬迫用华语 update 一下我的 blog. 算了吧，就让他们爽爽下。

最近都发生了不少事。上个星期六，我跟着家人一起去看 Toy Story 3. 这套戏真得很搞笑, 和 Toy Story 1 & 2 比起来有很多分别. 老 Andy 已经长大了, 对玩具的兴趣也会慢慢地消失. 在全部玩具中,我还是觉得 Buzz Lightyear 最好笑. 他开始说 Spanish 和跳 Spanish 舞的时候,全场人都在哈哈大笑. 我建议朋友们赶快去看这套戏, 你们都不会失望的! (除了 Nick, 还敢跟我说你在戏院里睡觉).

Okay that's enough of chinese gibberish for now. I wonder how long it took me to type that short paragraph. Anyways moving on. At 7.30pm later that day there was a small yum cha session organized by Chin Ken at first, but he was flying to Shanghai that night so the 'honor' of being organizer was passed on to Khing Yuan. Wei Kiat and I were first to arrive at the scene, followed by the trio Khing Yuan, Zhuan Khye and Jun Jie. They were busy deciding where to have dinner, despite the fact there was a nice steamboat restaurant across the street and Gasoline was like few seconds walk away.

We ended up at Gasoline and had our dinner while waiting for the others to arrive. Wan Ru was the one to arrive next, and apparently struggled at the fact that she was the only girl present. Nonetheless, easily engaged in conversation about the JPA scholarships (my results so bad, hear about scholarship wan cry liao). Soon, Zheng Dong arrived, followed by Jung Leang. And there you have it folks, the few who turned up for the gathering. 8/50, super good attendance. It never ceases to amuse me how Khing Yuan can ask Jun Jie about Huan Hee like every 30 mins or so.

Later on we decided to pay one of our teachers a visit. Started off with 叶桂香, but she's on holiday overseas. Then 蔡老师, but according to Cikgu Koh she just came back from China. Then we considered Cikgu Koh, but was told that it was too late at night (9pm+? Seriously ==). Later they said Zhu Jiunn, however according to Khing Yuan she was out with her bf (they called)? So the final decision was to Joyce's house. We left Gasoline at 10.30pm and headed for Joyce's house, sending Wan Ru home on the way.

It was quite awkward I must say, going to a girl's house at 11pm in the night. If her mom came down she would've been shocked to the core. We had a nice conversation before Khing Yuan and Zhuan Khye left. The rest of us left at 11.30 and I went to the nearby mamak shop where my mom picked me and Wei Kiat up.

And let's see, for today I sort of finished editing and rephrasing the essay on food addiction due on Wednesday. Thanks to Juliet for helping. AND OH YEAH! CHEMISTRY CLASS WAS CANCELLED CAUSE THE LECTURER WAS ON MC! Probably on her honeymoon or what since she just got married. And of course, more Calculus homework from Mr. Thaya as usual. Can't complain. And I've set an appointment with my advisor to discuss about the subjects I might be taking next semester. I feel like taking both Moral Studies and Malaysian Studies together. The faster I get rid of it, the more I will enjoy towards the end of the course I guess -.- Seriously, who needs 2 shitty and crappy subjects like that? Malaysia special sangat ni.

There's gonna be a talk on addiction tomorrow that I have to attend at 3.30pm to 4.30pm, which kinda pisses me off. I have only one class tomorrow, that is 9.30am-10.45am. So what the f- am I gonna do from 10.45am to 3.30pm? Geez -.- I'll need to bring my laptop over in this case.

What Lies Before Me?

Alright, where do I start?

I was doing experiments in the Chemistry lab last Thursday when my brother rang me up and told me that he couldn't access the Internet. I thought it was a simple problem that he'd never thought of how to fix. Turns out that it was quite a problem and I went through 4 days without internet access @@. So I'd either sit down and revise a bit on my college work or just play Starcraft to get ready for the new Starcraft 2.

Being a college student, I could see that I was more relaxed than before, able to blog like this even though there's an exam tomorrow. Since the evaluation is not 100% based on exams, that makes everything even better. There are still assignments, homework and the lot to help get marks, as well as attendance and participation.

I never imagined studying at Taylors before, but here I am now, a student enrolled in ADP at Taylors. If there was one thing I hate about it, its about reaching there by car. There are always jams on the way, and also the roundabout before turning into the college. My mom can get stuck there for half an hour before reaching the main campus to pick me up. Seriously =.=

Hmm.. what else. Ah, Kar Hoong has just returned from NS few days ago. Last Saturday, him along with Nick, Seng Wai and I went to Kepong JUSCO to watch the movie Prince of Persia and had bakuteh later on. It was certainly good to have him back once again. Now we'll just have to wait for Zhen Yu's return before we have another bakuteh session :D

I'm still not sure whether to attend this year's Asiasoft Gamefest or not. I won't be entering the Cabal Triple Threat for a number of reasons now, but still, the main reason being that its held in a cybercafe. My dad doesn't like me hanging around those places. I'll just have to see by then. Anybody wanna come along? :D

I know, my posts now are lacking pictures. Lately I'm not in the mood to suddenly just snap pictures like I used to do, maybe because I wanna be more focused on work and stuff, or that I'm just being lazier than usual. Either way, more pictures will be posted once I regain my mood for it. Without the proper mood, you might as well not do anything at all since you'll definitely screw it up, like my first warm-up assignment on narrative writing. I wasn't in the mood to think of a proper plot and be creative and the lot. In the end I wrote a piece of crap and got 5/10. For the real assignment, I was in the mood to write, and I drafted the essay twice before printing out a final copy. 14.5/15, big difference.

I've went out 3 days in a row with friends. Best to enjoy life before college starts :D My orientation at Taylors is on May 13th (very bad date if you ask me). I want Acer 4740 ):

Anyway, on April 23rd I went to Curve with Seng Wai. He drove from college to pick me up from my house and off we went to the Curve. Seng Wai, you don't have to always try to break the 100km/h mark you know x.x We went to McDonalds to have a quick bite and I copied the latest MapleStory files from my pendrive to his laptop. After that we went to watch the movie " I hate Valentines Day ".

To be honest, that lady really creeps me out. She keeps smiling and smiling and she never frowns or turns angry until later in the movie. Freaky woman @@

Later we had late lunch at Italiannies, at around 3pm. The bill? RM83.50 wahahaha.

Yesterday, went to have lunch with Nick, Kin Seng, Su Wern and Jing Huey at Metro Prima, in the cafe called GASOLINE. I forgot to take a picture of my Kiwi Snowy, it tastes so darn good.

The bill? Rm95.50. Nick's first expression : Wowowow (in a high pitched voice). The rest of us couldn't stop laughing.

We went to watch this movie later, Kick Ass. Jing Huey couldn't join us, so we went on without her. This movie is rated 18 PL, and yes, it is kinda violent. Imagine a little girl who swears and can kill a whole bunch of guards ^^V

And this morning, I went to Menjalara park to join Nick and Su Wern in some exercising activities. It has been a long time since I worked out, so I guess waking up early once in a while can't be that bad. I met a lot of relatives today. First my ah yi and grandma at the park. Then I meet my aunty and Std.6 bm teacher at a nearby coffee shop (shocked to the core rawr). Must thank Su Wern's mom for buying me and Nick breakfast (even though I was forced to drink 2 cups of iced Milo...)

Later on, went to Nick's house awhile while waiting for my mom to arrive. Took some of his chocolates and watched a bit of a TV before I left. And now, I'm sitting here dusting off my blog mwuahahaha. Finally something to read eh?

Time to shoot some zombies. Tatas~

Recent Updates

I guess there are quite some events going on these few days. Today I went to Metro Prima to meet Theng :) And was supposed to have my very first Korean meal. BUT DAORAE WAS CLOSED LOL! Never ever go there during the hours of 3pm-5.30pm xD. In the end we patah balik and go to Pizza Hut for a meal (I didn't take lunch so I was freaking hungry).

Copying Left 4 Dead 2 and the latest MapleStory file to her external hard drive.

Speaking of the external hard drive, Theng said it was only 30 GB. When I checked, it was almost 300 GB LOL! Tsk tsk Alicia doesn't know how to check yeah? F3. And, she keeps talking about that fat woman in the restaurant LOL.

What's next hmm. This Wednesday gonna go to Aunty Rasimah's house for some tea (and collect $ :X). On the previous Saturday, I went back to my school to attend the Sports Day event. KRS marching is getting worse every year... ): This year, yellow house won for the overall scores, and band won first place for the perbarisan competition. Later after the Sports Day, I went to the education fair @ Mid Valley with Nick, Seng Wai, Zhen Yu, Su Wern and Jing Huey. The train was VERY crammed on that day for this very reason, since there are education fairs in both Mid Valley and KLCC on both 13th and 14th. Nevertheless, we went, and walked till our legs were like jelly. After the walk, we chilled at Pizza Hut :D

Also, the decoration for the center court in Mid Valley is based on one of the latest movies released - Alice in Wonderland. The decorations consisted of a huge metal gate, giant mushrooms, and a tea set just like in the movie. There was a dance performance earlier on, but we were in the fair and missed it.

That night, dad brought the whole family to Marché @ The Curve for a scrumptious meal.

Pokemon Craze

Ok, recently Nick and Seng Wai have started to play Pokemon Platinum. Since I had nothing to do, I thought I might as well try and see the newest version of the Pokemon game series. Starting with Red, Blue, Green and Yellow, moving on to Silver, Gold and Crystal, advancing to Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. Now, we have Diamond, Pearl and Platinum (These latest 3 run on Nintendo DS instead of GBA). Hence, the normal Gameboy Advance emulator cannot run the Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum games, as they are in Nintendo DS format. There are Nintendo DS emulators, but not so well modified yet. I've downloaded one of the more frequently used emulators, called no$GBA, but it does not come with a speed up function (probably not implemented yet), so it took me 2 days to finish the game (instead of the usual few hours with speed up).

At first glance, Pokemon Platinum may seem different to the normal Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald players, due to the new Nintendo DS formats. But the opening events are just about the same, with a slight change in the storyline.

And, just like any other Pokemon game, everybody will have the headache of choosing one of the 3 available starter Pokemon given to you. The 3 Pokemon are of different types, one fire, one water and one grass. Since Nick chose Chimchar (Fire), and Seng Wai chose Turtwig (Grass), I went with Piplup (Water) just to 配合情况.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum is based on the 4th Generation for Pokemon, meaning there is a whole new bunch of Pokemon that I have never seen before, which makes me quite inexperienced to the new species. There are now a total of 493 Pokemon (from Generations 1 to 4) that you can record in your National Pokedex for Platinum. That's a very very big number. But I'm playing just for the storyline, not for the collection reason.

The main difference you can see when comparing Pokemon Platinum to the earlier versions is the change in interfaces. And now with the new touch screen function for the Nintendo DS, you can too click certain things in the game with your mouse for the PC version.

And as you can see, we even have a new HM - Rock Climb. This move allows the user to climb up slopes with rock paths. And as for some other HM changes, Flash is now a TM instead of a HM, Dive is no longer a HM and Defog is a new HM added. Here's a screenshot of how Rock Climb works.

See that clock under the main screen? That's another new addition to Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. Its the thing you see on the 2nd screen for the Nintendo DS, so it comes as shown in the picture. That's a new application called Poketch, and as you progress in the game it not only shows the time, you will get more functions such as Calculator, Memo Pad, Step Counter, Happiness Checker, Item Finder... etc etc. These will help you in game and make your life easier.

The next noticable change are battle-related. Whenever a battle starts, the characters and Pokemon are all animated and will move for a while. And that's not all, there are some new moves never seen before and also changing of the skill's animation from previous games. The Pokemon's stance and back view are also different.

Special Rend - A new move exclusive to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. Only Palkia can use it.

Another new feature exclusive to Platinum is a different storyline when compared with Diamond and Pearl. This time, you get to capture the Legendary Pokemon Giratina before the Pokemon League, in a new map known as the Distorted Dimension, or dubbed as the Reverse World in the movie. This Distorted Dimension fully makes use of the Nintendo DS's 3D capabilities, and makes it one of the more complicated maps to navigate through. Here are some examples:

Soon, you'll reach Giratina.

Another feature exclusive to Giratina is its ability to change forms. In the Distorted Dimension, Giratina retains its Origin Form (the worm like shape). But once you exit the Distorted Dimension and back to your normal world, Giratina will alter its form.

The Origin Form and Altered Form have different stats build, and obviously the Origin Form looks cooler :P So many people will go "Oh man why do I have to put up with this uglier version >:(".

There is a way for Giratina to retain its Origin Form outside of the Distortion World. But first, you need to defeat the Pokemon League, completing the game once. After that, you may return to the place where you exit after catching Giratina. Instead of entering the distortion world immediately, you will be in a cave called Turnback Cave. From here, you must click 3 pillars within 30 rooms and the next map will have a portal in it.

From here, you will re-enter the Distortion World, and after a while, you will find an item called "Griseous Orb", or previously known as Platinum Orb. This item boosts the power of Dragon and Ghost type moves, and when given to Giratina, it will change to its Origin Form and retain in that state wherever you are. To change Giratina, just simply take or give it the Griseous Orb to switch it between its Altered and Origin forms respectively.

My Giratina is differently coloured because it is a shiny one, jealous? :X It's real rare to get a shiny pokemon. 1/8192 is the precise probability of getting one, so I'm considered extremely lucky for finding a Shiny LEGENDARY.

Right now I've run out of things to do in Pokemon Platinum. I've completed the game and have a few of my Pokemon to Lv9x. One thing I like about Pokemon Platinum is the new Elite 4. It is very much challenging and more difficult than the previous Pokemon games. The main reason is probably due to the diversity of Pokemon types that each Elite 4 trainer has, instead of having 1 single type that you can easily KO with just 1 pokemon that can exploit their weaknesses. The trainers in Elite 4, especially Champion Cynthia, have Pokemon of a main type, but with additional types and moves to counter their weaknesses. For example, Elite 4 Flint uses Fire type Pokemon, and has a Pokemon called Magmortar. Normally, at first thought, people will use Water type Pokemon against it. However, Flint's Magmortar knows the move Thunderbolt, a Lightning type move that can severely damage Water types. This is especially true in Champion Cynthia's case, as she has not only one type, since each Pokemon she has is of a different type.

For those of you who have nothing to do, I do suggest you try playing this game for the fun of it :)

Today was the gathering for students of 6A class of 2004 from SJK(C)Kepong 2.

26 old friends manage to reunite at GSC Cinema today @ 11am (with the help of Facebook xD). Unfortunately, there are those who are busy/overseas and could not make it to the gathering. Still, it was a good outcome. We managed to gather more than half the class, which is already a lot of people.

While waiting for those late-comers, we decided to find a restaurant to have a bite while waiting for them. The thought of trying to fit 23 people into a restaurant was really hilarious. First we tried Chili's, then Dragon-i. Both could not accomodate (or more specifically, not to our preferences) our huge amounts. So in the end we went to Vietnam Kitchen, and we took a few tables and joined them together. I was thinking we took up quite a lot of space. We used 6 tables (some long some short).

Then later, Eugene and Geng Cheng came, followed by Zhu Jiunn later on. It was a good reunion for everyone. We had a nice talk and meal. I guess the best part was paying the bill. We took more than 10 minutes to settle everything. Since the table was divided into a few sections, each section handle their own bill, +10% service charge and 5% tax and whatnot. In the end we lacked of RM20+ (dunno who didn't pay) so everyone "donated" RM1 to complete the bill.

Later, we went to U-Bowl for a bowling session. We booked 4 lanes, each lane with 3 people in it. All the girls weren't actively involved, but they did play some. I just took photos. Zhu Jiunn had to went back early, so we decided to take the group photo before she left. Ok no matter how lazy I am I HAVE to upload this wonderful picture.

That was undoubtedly the best picture of the day!

After bowling, we moved on to Snooker. Here some people really showed their expertise, like Pei Ling, Xinni, Khing Yuan (jump shooter). We had a good time laughing over those funny moments and funny shots, but some were quite impressive (and out of luck, of course).

After bowling, we decided to head to Desa Parkcity for a tea break, and at the same time visit 叶桂香老师 since most of the class was here. We divided ourselves into the amount of vehicles that were present (Jun Yean 1 car, Pei Ling 1 car, Wen Jie 1 car, and Khing Yuan 1 car) and proceeded to our destination. However, few people didn't want to tag along due to transport problems later on.

We reached Desa Parkcity and went to the playground there. We played the swings and such, and later tried to get hold of teacher to find out if she was home or not. Unfortunately she wasn't. However, we had a real good time talking about the times we had in primary school. Memories like hating the extra classes, fearsome teachers, funny incidents and whatnot really made us laugh. It definitely made my day a happy one. Later on, we went to Kay's Cafe for a drink (I had french fries). There, we decided that we should have more gatherings like this, and set a more stable date so that more people can make it (though we could have more trouble finding a restaurant xD).

After having our tea break, we sat by a corner near the Cafe and continued our conversation. This time, it was about future education, and Pei Ling was suddenly a counsellor. It was like attending an education fair lol. And soon it was time to go home. Those who can drive were kinda forced to send those who couldn't drive home. However, my parents were not at home, so I went to Nick's house instead and had dinner there.

I really really enjoyed myself today. One of the best things that happened after SPM to be exact, besides my birthday and meeting *someone*. I guess I'm done with this post :)

CNY 2010 @ Hometown in Johor

Went back to Segamat in Johor for CNY like every other year before. My brothers had to take a day off early from school, since we have reunion lunch instead of dinner. The travel time from KL to Segamat is a 3 hour drive (might vary depending on the traffic and our hunger). We left on Friday (12th Feb) at around 10 in the morning.

We stopped by Melaka for lunch, then continued our journey. Instead of taking the usual route my dad always used, we used another route this year for a bit of change. Surprisingly, it was a faster trip since there was less cars and less traffic lights. Reached my grandpa's house at around 2pm.

Basically I didn't do much on the first day. Just unloaded all our stuff into the house and change into cooler clothing (the heat there is really a hindrance).

Dinner was pretty much easy to guess. The usual pork with eggs, some vegies and curry chicken. At night, we would usually crowd around the TV, or hang out in the air-cond room chatting. Since this year we have 4 relatives back from the USA, the place was more crowded and noisier than usual.

And the first day passed just like that. Every morning here, there is always something that I look forward to - Breakfast. Why? Because the roti pisang here is the best. The thosai cheese here is also very good. Hence, our family made the shop near the house a staple place to go for breakfast. I MUST have my daily dose of roti pisang (except the first day of CNY, 14th Feb, yam cakes). Usually I will order 2 roti pisang and share half a cheese thosai with whoever cannot finish the entire thing. I forgot to take pictures of the food this year ):

After lunch, its like "do what you wanna do" time. My grandpa usually goes out to town. Some (including me) gamble by playing card games (blackjack and in between), some play mahjong, my brothers usually play PS2 or use my grandpa's laptop. And of course, most of us just sleep. I do too after our gambling sessions end at 3pm+.

My grandpa also organized a dinner the next night on 15th Feb. He invited one of his brothers and 2 of his sisters to the dinner, ending up come with children and grandchildren. So it was quite crowdy at the restaurant. We had to use 4 tables.

The 8 course dinner was the usual. Starting with yee sang followed by shark fin soup. Somemore I heard my grandpa purposely delayed the dishes so that we could spend more time. More like waste our time =.=

Today I went to watch Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief with ZhenYu and his band kakis. Its quite a good show. But they didn't kiss at the end. ARGH!!!

I'm in Segamat, Johor right now. I reached here yesterday. Thank god there's a wireless modem here, but the router seems a bit buggy, and I had to use a direct line to go online.

Every morning (except on the first day of CNY), our family will go to the mamak stall near the house for a good meal of Thosai cheese and roti pisang. I had 2 roti pisang and half a thosai cheese today, absolutely delicious. Every year back its always this stall that we go to. Beh tahan, too good liao.

I guess I've finally run out of things to blog. There aren't many happenings, not as many as when I was still in school. Sad to say, I miss secondary school life. Even though it might be stressful and all that, it may be wise to appreciate what you are going through. Everyone only goes through secondary school once, remember that.

My next driving lesson is on Tuesday. So far I have only had one lesson. Proud to say that I'm driving quite ok, and my dad does encourage me to drive my mom's car under her supervision when she's free.

Other than learning how to drive, nothing much really happens. Sometimes I just hang out with friends, but that's about the most interesting that happens for now. There's no singing competition, essay writing competition (Hoho how I missed pwning other people xD) and whatnot. Frankly speaking, life ain't as interesting as how it used to be, for now though. All that may change once I start college.

I'm thinking of studying Veterinary Bioscience in one of Singapore's polytechnic. They allow SPM students to apply when the results are out so I still have some time (of boredom).

Chinese New Year is coming soon too! I hope you peoplez have already done your shopping, cause the more popular malls should be packed with people everyday. Doing things at the eleventh hour is not always the best thing to do xD

So far I've watched 2 movies this month, that is the Tooth Fairy (starring Dwayne Johnson) and The Spy Next Door (starring Jacky Chan). Both are comedies, but the Tooth Fairy is obviously more comical than The Spy Next Door.

My History, with twins Andrew and Christopher

Yes, as we all know, our beloved 5E class twins Andrew and Christopher are leaving us for Australia to further their studies. Departing on the coming Wednesday, we have only two more days left with them. Sometimes it would seem that without them, it might not affect your life that badly. But sadly it will have effects on people close to them, especially 5E classmates.

The twins are short, and it became their most distinctive feature. They both share the same mischievous, joker and fun loving attitude. And they never fail to amuse us with their behavior. There are two things that I have in common with the twins. One, is that our English is good, and we are usually at the top. The other, is that our chinese sucks big time (3 of us were the lowest scorers during Form 3 in the same class).

The twins studied at the same primary school as I did, SJK(C)Kepong 2. However, I did not meet them until I was standard 4. And that time I only met Andrew, Chris was in the other class. Moving on to standard 5, I was sorted into 5A, while Andrew went to 5B along with Nick. Chris was in E or F, I'm not sure (I never knew about him). And we remained in our respective classes in standard 6.

Moving on the secondary school, SMKB. In form 1, Andrew and Nick both were in the same class with me. Surprisingly, I still remembered both of them since I was apart from them for 2 years (I split from my 6A classmates instead, since most of them were smart and went to the first class, I was in the third). Even though I wasn't in the same class as Chris in form 1, we went to the same uniformed unit, the Kadet Remaja Sekolah. Hence, the 3 of us were in the same unit. And so we began building our friendship.

In form 2, I dropped 1 class from 1K to 2E. This time, both Andrew and Chris were in my class. So is Nick (fyi, Nick has been with me for 5 years straight in secondary school. We never went in different classes). And it was this fateful year, that I started playing MapleStory. Began early February and was in time for the first Anniversary of MapleStory too! Because of this, not only did we interact in school, we also interacted online as well. This further bonded our friendship. And it never stopped, since we played Gunbound together as well, showing great teamwork spirit.

In form 3, all of us went to 3K and reunited with some other friends as well. We still played Maple as usual, and we continue to be the top 3 scorers in the English subject, as well as the lowest 3 scorers for the Chinese subject. We continued studying together, and faced the PMR exam. And like always, the year end holidays we continuously played Maple together.

As fate would have it, we would get seperated at one point in life. The twins, being better at studies, were sorted into 4E class, while Nick and I went to 5L. Even though we were in different classes, we always hang out together during recess most of the time. Another factor is because 4E and 4L has a very strong bond. The friendship that was built up over the years never fell, but instead grew. Remember, we still played Maple during the holidays. And it was this year, that we had one of the most intense gaming time (Maple) in our lives. We trained from Lv12x till 14x. Andrew and Chris both reached 150, but I got stuck at 149 =.= . Being in a different class never really affected us this way.

And finally, last year (Form 5). It was the same as how we were in Form 4, except less Mapling due to the SPM examinations. We have some small study sessions together, though they will revise with their classmates most of the time. It was slightly different than what it was in forms 2 and 3. Instead of being together in school and online, we spent time apart in school, but end up playing Maple together later, or maybe MSN/Facebook. And of course after the SPM examinations, we had a few hang outs together with other friends to celebrate the occasion.

Since January this year, the twins and I have been actively Mapling, fighting bosses and doing quests together. On the first day of our school's orientation, we were supposed to return to school to check out the kadet stall, but they didn't set any, so we went to McDonalds for lunch instead. And after that, we went home and continued Mapling. I am not surprised that we will be going for another Zakum run tomorrow, it has become a daily basis.

And tonight, there was a farewell party at their new house in Sunway SPK. It was meant to be a surprise party, but someone (I'm not mentioning who) sent a sms over asking "When is your party?" and ruined the whole thing. But there was one thing that did shock them - there were a lot more people than they expected. We had fun chatting, eating, playing chor dai di and showing some magic tricks. And from what I heard, there is to be another farewell dinner this coming Tuesday at Desa Parkcity.

And by the way, Andrew and Chris, you still owe Seng Wai some (not some bah, few million) mesos for his spamming + ringer service. Please settle your debts with him before you leave TQ.

Trip to Chengdu, China (22nd-26th Dec 2009)

My family and I went for a 5 day 4 night trip in Chengdu located in China. Its the winter season over there, so we borrowed some winter wear from relatives, and bought some long johns with warmers.

DAY 1, 22ND DECEMBER.
Woke up at around 4am. We packed our stuff and departed for LCCT at 5am. Our flight was 9am, and we were required to check in 3 hours earlier, which meant we had to be there by 6am. We did, and we had breakfast after checking in the passports and luggages. By the time we finished everything (by taking our time), it was already 8am. We waited at the gate and met some aunties who were going back to Chengdu from Malaysia too. The places they recommended were the places we were going to visit, so we knew we made the right choices, with the exception of one due to restrictions during winter time.

The journey to China was approximately 4 hours. Before landing, everybody was starting to put on their winter wear, so we did the same. We proceeded to pass through the annoying customs and stuff and look for our booked driver. I hate communicating in China, knowing that mandarin isn't exactly my main dialect =.= However, the driver used simple chinese to communicate and I was able to understand him (with difficulty, Sichuan dialect has different tone from the mandarin here). The minute we went out through the airport doors, the cold breeze immediately greeted our faces. *Shiver* We took a ride in his MPV and proceeded to our first stop of the day - The Panda Research Center.

The weather is very foggy. The driver says 60% of the time the weather is like that x.x

Not only was the weather foggy, but it was hella dusty too. As we all know, China has the largest population of all the countries in the world. Since there are many people here, the number of vehicles would also increase, hence the heavier fog/dust whatever you call it. And they are only allowed one children per family, so you could imagine how they envy us when they saw my family (3 kids mah, lol). Soon we arrived at the research center. We paid the entrance fee and continued inside.

Next, we went to check in in our hotel "Holday Inn Express". We were lucky, cause the manager could speak fluent English with an American slang. He also knows cantonese (he worked in Macau before) and of course the sichuan dialect they use here. He helped us to do some translation when buying some local phone cards too xD. This hotel is not bad, I'd give it a rating of 7/10. At least it keeps you warm :)

That reminds me, the traffic! From my observation throughout my holiday in China, I have concluded that China drivers are even worse than Malaysian drivers. There are a few simple rules to follow actually.
1. Be reckless and speedy.
2. If the car in front is slower than you, honk him.
3. If he still doesn't move, honk him repeatedly.
4. If he moves, speed off like a rocket and honk the next car.
5. If he still ignores, just overtake him while honking.
6. Your non-recklessness can lead to your inevitable demise (stuck in traffic).
7. These rules apply to all vehicles including buses and cabs.

Epic eh? And 1 more thing about China people. They love to spit. Wherever you go, you will see people doing this. That's why I hate walking around in China. Spitting is a very disgusting habit. You can see fresh spits on the floor every 3 minutes. Now that is super duper gross. I wish I had a spell that returns the spit back to their mouths.

Alright enough of that. It appears that the food outlets in China close quite early, as early as 8.30pm. Could be the weather, cause 6pm in China looks like 7.30pm already. And 8.30am looks like 7am lol. We walked around and then went to a simple shop for a simple dinner before returning to our hotel.

DAY 2, 23RD DECEMBER.
The plan for our holiday was:
Day 1: Panda Center
Day 2: Visit Le Shan and reach the foot of Emei Shan by evening
Day 3: Go to the peak of Emei Shan and return to Chengdu city by night (same hotel)
Day 4: Shopping spree + Walking around
Day 5: Return to M'sia.

Basically, we are on schedule. We went down to the hotel restaurant for our breakfast before departing @ 8am for Le Shan (this com cant type chinese characters, psps =x). Our main purpose for visiting Le Shan was to see the big buddha statue (Le Shan Da Fo). The journey from our hotel in Chengdu city to Le Shan was about 2 hours. I slept for half the journey :)

Who knew that there were student rates here as well. And my dad told me not to bring my cards here (cards that I stuff in my wallet, my student card was one of'em). End up we had to negotiate with the manager. I mean, why the hell do you need proof. Does my youngest brother need proof that he is a student? Sheeesh! But anyway, we succeeded in getting student prices for my brothers and I (I graduated eh, heheh). We paid a tour guide to take us around the mountain. Upon entry, we could see a scene of lush greens and a calm river. On the sides of the mountain we could see a big buddha shape carved into it. We viewed many different statues and buddhas, and climbed a very long flight of stairs (not as long as Batu Caves). The giant buddha is enormous. According to the tour guide, its entire height is 71 meters. The shoulders are 28 meters long from one end to the other, and the ears are 7 meters long.

...we proceeded to our next destination - Emei Shan. Our plan was to stay a night at the foot of the mountain, and go up to the peak the very next day. Emei Shan is quite near to Le Shan, so it didn't take long for us to reach (after we had our lunch of course). Once there, we checked into a hotel that the driver recommended us. After all, what we wanted was a clean and comfortable hotel, doesn't need to be all fancy. By this time, the temperature was about 7 degrees celcius. The previous spots we visited are around 8-10 degrees. "This is going to be one heck of a chilly night" I thought. Unlike the Holiday Inn Express, this hotel doesn't have a heater. Oh well. At the hotel, we signed up for a package tour of the peak of Emei Shan, bringing us to temples and whatnot. The journey from the base to one of the higher points is 2 hours by bus. From there, we still need to walk a distance and take a cable car up, then walk again before reaching the peak. Nevertheless, we agreed cause that is what we came here for.

DAY 3, 24TH DECEMBER 2009
Woke up at 5am to get ready for the tour. By 6.10am we already finished our breakfast and proceeded to the designated bus. We stopped at the entrance to buy entry tickets before continuing our ascent up the mountain. As usual, I slept but for more than half the journey this time. 2 hours eh, what to do?

And when I opened my eyes, I saw snow for the first time in my life.

"Wah! I'm in Bloody Ice!" O_O

Anyway, it was very damn freezing up there. If there's ice and snow, the temperature is sure to be below zero degrees. Even with a long john, long sleeve shirt, sweater, and 2 winter coats (that makes it 5 layers), I could still feel the chill. I've even wore 2 jeans and 2 socks =.="

It seems that our shoes weren't enough to tackle the slippery stairs and slopes. There they sold shoe straps made of uhm, I dunno LOL. Some just tied spikes to their shoes. These helped us to grip the slipper surface of the ground to prevent us from falling over. Still, there are people who manage to slip, fall, trip, you name it. We continued our journey by foot to the cable car and took it up higher, where we reached the peak. There stood a giant golden buddha statue on 4 elephants. There were also a few temples, including 2 very large ones. My family wanted to go skiing, so we broke off from the tour group. If we followed the tour group, we would proceed to other temples after this. Youngsters (like my brothers and I) are of course completely uninterested in temples, so naturally we were happy about skiing. Besides, that goddamn tour guide pisses me off. She talks so loudly, like we're close to being deaf or something. Imagine SHOUTING through a SPEAKER in front of 10 people that's gathered around you zzz. That's not all, she keeps rushing us around, leaving us no time to take pictures or rest awhile. We were gasping for air because of her. Breaking off from the tour guide was the wise decision.

Later we went to the skiing field. I didn't take any pictures since I was skiing myself, but my dad took videos on his camcorder. I haven't got it from him though. I am glad to say I didn't fall on my first few tries :D But I fell TWICE on my last run because there was a problem with the locking mechanism on the ski boots zzz.

We left Emei shan at about 3.45pm. The journey down is another 2 hours, but it was cut short to 1 hour 30 mins+, because that stupid driver thinks he is driving a Ferrari. He was speeding down the slopes so fast WTF. All the sharp curves and the speed at which he was going made me giddy and I threw up =.=" Curse that driver!

From Emei Shan back to Chengdu was another 2 hours, and by the time we reached Holiday Inn Express it was already 7.30pm+. Feeling exhausted and not wanting to walk anymore, we went to the nearest shop to have our dinner. The dinner was, chicken/duck rice with char siew :D

4TH DAY, 25TH DECEMBER.
Merry Christmas hohoho! It was a free day for us, and we decided to walk around the city ourselves. We got to the nearest bus stop and took a bus to Ren Min Gong Yuan. The bus system here is more effective than in Malaysia. Every 5 minutes there will be a bus, whereas here you need to wait 1 hour+ =.=" And it doesn't stop there. The buses in China have good air conditioning and television. Our Malaysia bus? Nah, I don't wanna say anymore. The traffic here is just like what you can find in KL, always jam, except that they have a lot more bicycles and motorcycles.

We took Bus no.64 to Ren Min Gong Yuan. When we entered, my ears picked up harmonious music. Curious, we went deeper in the park, and there we saw a bunch of old folks singing together. Not just 10, but around 50 or more of them. There were a few of them who were playing chinese traditional instruments, such as the er hu and pi pa. Also with them was a conductor, who had a very powerful expression and conducted professionally. I recorded a video on the singing, but there seems to be a problem with my converter. I'll upload it when I solve the problem :)

And it doesn't end here. After the singing, they all regrouped for line dancing. My mom was so excited that she joined in as well. This lifestyle is actually not bad. At least the old folks have something to do that will help them pass time. It seems that they do this every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 hours per day. Looks like we came at the right time :D

The shops here are like what you can find in Sungai Wang, but more crowded and more shops due to the dense population.

5TH DAY, 26TH DECEMBER.
Woke up at 8.30am, had breakfast at the hotel. Slacked around in the hotel room until 11.30am. Called a taxi, and off we went to the airport. Flight scheduled at 2.55pm. Went through customs blah blah blah. Had lunch, and boarded the plane. Reached LCCT @ 7.30pm, reached home @ 9pm+ (had errands to run).

I was damn excited for this day to come xP

My birthday was just the day before this, so you can imagine how much I really enjoyed myself during these 2 days.

Bff said she was going to reach Port Klang by 2pm, so it was natural that I leave for the place earlier. Port Klang is not some place where you can easily reach within a short time span. Plus, it had to be done by train. Seng Wai and I met at Sg. Buloh train station @ 12pm+. We then proceeded to KL Sentral. Once there, we changed to another KMT at the interchange station that heads to Port Klang. It was around 1pm at that time. It took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Port Klang's station. My butt was seriously aching from just sitting. Train seats are uncomfortable x.x

The minute I got out from the train, the smell of salt water instantly met my face. Its been a long time since I've been to the seaside, so you could call it as "refreshing". It was 2.15pm when we reached Port Klang. We could see supply boats docked close to shore. My phone was having a network problem at that time, which made it very hard to communicate with bff. I couldn't receive any messages from bff, or receive any calls for that matter. In the end, had to rely on Seng Wai's phone. Bff was out from the ferry by 2.30pm, but we didn't see anyone. After much hassle and discussion (too lazy to write), bff said she'll be at the new JUSCO in Bukit Tinggi.

Seng Wai and I took a taxi down there. I thought "A new JUSCO. Great. God knows how big it will be". It was not as big as I expected, obviously smaller than 1U, which means I can handle it (I know 1U like the back of my hand). The building structure is very narrow-like near the entrance, but more spacious in the middle, though pale in comparison to 1U/Curve.

Bff said she was at a shoe shop called SUMMIT on the FIRST FLOOR (Bff you should know why I caps that f3). So Seng Wai and I scanned the first floor, which took about 10 minutes or less. There wasn't any shop called SUMMIT, or selling shoes for that matter. We went to look at the information counter, and guess what, its on the GROUND FLOOR. Bff dunno how to differentiate 1st and ground floor uh =x

We slowly scanned the ground floor for the shop. Just like any other shopping malls, its filled with branded outlets. Slowly we walked, until the word SUMMIT can into our view. We slowly peered into the shop. My mind was going "No, not her, nope, not her too". And then, someone stared at me and our eyes made contact. *lightbulb* "Gotcha". And guess what, her mom and grandma was there too X.x Even so, I was ready since bff already told me.

Her mom came and greeted Seng Wai and I. To my surprise, she conversed in mandarin with us, which was rather, not that comfortable with me. I don't really like conversing to people I just met in mandarin. Nevertheless, I just endured. She was asking tons of stuff, like "Where do you live? How long have you been studying? What does your dad do? How did you meet Bao Yi? You met through Maple?" etc etc blah blah blah. @.@

I was feeling hungry since I didn't have lunch yet. Her mom suggested we go to Old Town Coffee for a meal. And she said "Bao Yi, you sit with your friends. Ahma and I will go another table." Bff was going O_O" It was quite awkward, and the conversation was strictly limited due to the presence of her mom and grandma. You know, no vulgars and sensitive stuff.... f3. It was hard to initiate a conversation, since we had nothing much to talked about (Oh the limitations!). Seng Wai was trying very very hard to start a convo, but in the end he just kept texting to XiYing. He felt very disappointed that he could not meet XiYing =x

Bff gave us christmas cards and a late birthday present for me. Thanks bff :D Seng Wai was going "How come she give you don't give me." I replied "Uh, my birthday was yesterday?" Obviously lol. Later we followed them around while they shopped. Seng Wai & Sherman: "Women." f3.

They went to get a taxi at 5. Seng Wai and I stayed at the shopping mall. After we bought some @ cash, we started deciding what to do next.

Sherman: What to do now?
Seng Wai: Walk around some more lo, I want to stay here for dinner.
Sherman: Dun wan la, 2x exp 8pm-10pm leh. I wan train my Aran to Lv54.
Seng Wai: Then we go home at 7 lo.
Sherman: Train is 1 hour from here to KL Sentral leh. Still need go back Kepong.
Seng Wai: Then we eat earlier lo, find a restaurant.

Sherman: Why not we just have a simple bite at McDonalds...
Seng Wai: I haven't eat my breakfast and lunch leh, you dun forget.
Sherman: Who ask you just now cancel the order when eating with Gladys (bff)?
Seng Wai: They so slow, I cancel lo.
Sherman: We walk so long liao, simply settle at one la.
Seng Wai: Fine we go McD.

So we took another taxi back to the train station, and from there back to KL Sentral. There seemed to be a football game involving Malaysia going on at that time, and there were lots of football fans crowded around a nearby television. Seng Wai and I bought different tickets. I got off at Kepong station, while he went back to Sg. Buloh station. Conclusion? It was a pretty fun and awkward day, but still, couldn't be that bad. I'm glad bff enjoyed herself :D

Just joking, its the 2nd big exam you get when you're in secondary school. That's right, SPM. The first is PMR. Currently BM, English and History are officially destroyed, and their leftovers (revision books) will soon be buried in the nearby graveyards (dustbins). My comments?

BM - Surprisingly easy, not much of a challenge (Except the peribahasa =.=).

English - Easy as always. Literature questions SUCK. No thinking needed.

History - I'll live to see the SPM results LOL.

Now 7 subjects remaining. These are (in order) Maths, Moral, Add. Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Chinese (SCREW THIS SUBJECT).

Maths is on Monday (tomorrow), done some minor revision. Organ test is tomorrow too.

Moral on Tuesday, just needa hafal those stupid nilai we've been learning for 5 years. 5 years, and yet we can't get'em in our heads.

Add. Maths is on Wednesday, I've been doing some intensive practices, and I'm glad to say I'm improving :)

And that will be the end for this week. Until then, there will only be 4 subjects left :)

A Day of Entertainment

17th October.

I spent most of the day away from home, which is rather contrasting to what I usually do (using the computer etc etc). Few good reasons for this.

Since PMR is already over, the Form 3s are celebrating like crazy (as seen on Thursday). I decided to join Sueanne and her friends to catch a movie at 1U. At the same time, I also wanted to buy a present for Siow Kuan's birthday which is also on the same day. She organized a party later that night.

I left my house at 9.30am, and came back at 5.30pm, left at 6.00pm again, and lastly came home at 10.50pm (the party ended quite early). I dragged Nick along with me hehe.

We watched the movie "Pandorum" at 1U at 11.00am. The phrase "From the producers of Resident Evil" probably suggests its a horror film. I have no idea what the story is about, since I haven't read the synopsis of the movie, but judging from the picture, its got something to do with a virus or mutation, you know, science stuff.

Whilst watching the movie, I noticed that the others were shivering (hehe...). Either it was too cold, or the movie was too scary. There are some gory parts, but the censored most of it. You wouldn't want kids to see too many bloody scenes. This movie has a PG13+ rating, so generally any kid with adult supervision can enter. However, I don't think this is appropriate at all. Compared to Alien VS Predator 2 Requiem, this show has even more blood and gore in it. AvP2 has a 18+ rating, but this show is only a mere 13+. Not fair! But those mutated things in the show were awesome and cool. Their sound is a ripoff from AvP's predator, and they move very damn fast, not to mention having notable combat skills, and respect for an enemy who shows courage in fighting them (that agricultural guy). Sueanne was using her popcorn pack to block the screen LOL.

After that we went to Pizza Hut and had lunch. Went to the arcade next. I didn't spend a single cent and I got to play some games for free =x. I only played House of the Dead 3 and 4. The shotgun model was so messed up. The forearm proved really challenging to pull back and forth. Imagine having to reload every 2 seconds =.= My left hand was aching from pulling the forearm, while my right hand was tired from rapidly pressing the trigger...

Mom came to pick me and Nick up at 5+, reached home at 5.30. Wrapped up the present, and proceeded to Siow Kuan's house at 6pm. When I reached there, everybody was wearing pink, and that was when I remembered she asked me to wear pink there =x My mom was like "Why didn't you tell me? Should have bought a pink shirt for you to wear just now." I was the only person in green there haha.

The outside decoration balloons were pink, the cake was pink, most of the presents were wrapped in pink, and everybody was wearing pink. Haven't seen enough? Think flamingoes (that was random).

It seems that there was no food caterer, but a steamboat truck instead, those "lok lok" stalls where you can dip the food into boiling water to have it cooked, placed on a hot pan to have it fried or dip it into cooking oil to deep fry it. There were so many different types of food there. We sure had fun munching down everything, but nobody at the mee hun and the fruits LOL.

Later there were some great display of fireworks from another house, nothing to do with us. Probably celebrating Deepavali. It didn't take long for a police vehicle to pass by and go to the house. Apparently the guy got a ticket for putting fireworks LOL. After the police vehicle went off, the guys started gambling, playing Blackjack. They sure had fun laughing, and the best part was, if they win, they will scream and shout like crazy, if they lose, none of them will make a sound.

Later, we sang the happy birthday song and Siow Kuan blew out her candles, commemorating her 17th birthday. And then instantly there were people chorusing "KISS SIOW KUAN! KISS SIOW KUAN!" or " KISS WAI HOE! KISS WAI HOE!". Nick and I were going "LOLOLOLOL!". Wai Hoe just kissed Siow Kuan on the cheek fyi, so don't get any dirty thoughts you perverted readers >:) Siow Kuan opened her presents, and there were 4 people who pakat and bought the same gift - 4 chicken toys o.o LOL. That was the best joke of the day man. Couldn't stop laughing after a while.

After eating the pink hello kitty cake, it was about time to go home. So we said our farewells and poof. I was sweating buckets at that time, it was freaking hot. And I was very very thirsty. Orange juice can't quench your thirst. Its like, something to do with hypertonic solution and stuff. Went home and took a nice cooling shower before I slept. And woke up again at 3.00am+ due to a really heavy downpour. Lol.

SMKB's Chinese Orchestra's Very 1st Concert

Hehe... yesterday the Chinese Orchestra of SMKB had their very own concert for the first time. I was one of the guys on duty to arrange chairs move mics etc etc. I could see that all of the orchestra members were nervous as this was their first big event. Even the teachers were as nervous as the students. Nevertheless, they trained long and hard for this day, so there wasn't any real error that surfaced during the rehearsal.

KRS members (including me) were asked to clean the hall and remove any rubbish/obstacles/etc etc that would obstruct the concert's progress while the orchestra rehearsed. In the later part of the day (around 4pm+), How Ming and I followed Pn. Yeap Siew Hong to pick up some bouquet of flowers from the florist shop in the nearby market. And boy are they expensive.

3 of the 5 bouquets of flowers the teacher bought.

Before 7pm, we had our dinner - chicken rice/duck rice. By 7pm, we were busy doing our duties. The orchestra members were having some last minute warm ups and practices at backstage/basketball court while KRS members were busy arranging chairs/mics and guiding guests from the front gate to the hall where the event was being held.

By 8.15pm, the headmaster + VIPs arrived and the concert was officially started. Of course, not missing the speeches and the officiating ceremony blabla. Christopher and Hao Ming had their own solos of the chinese flute and pi-pa respectively. They performed quite well, but kept telling me that they made a lot of mistakes =.= zzz.
The concert ended at around 10.20pm+. Then there were some photography sessios. AND AFTER THAT, we had to move the 400+ chairs back into the basement. Lucky there were alot of volunteers, and we managed to finish the job in around 30 minutes.

It was then decided later to have a drink for the night. Although it was 11pm+ the shop was fully packed, but we managed to grab a table and some chairs for 10 of us. They even provided chinese chess and cards for us to play. I'll say, the drinks there are just magnificient. And guess how much the bill is at the end (refer to picture below).

By the time we finished our drinks and chit chat, it was almost 12.40am. Most of us squeezed into Andrew's car so he could send us home. First he went to ah Bong's house, then Nick's, then mine. It was 1.05am by the time I reached home. I immediately took a shower, dried my hair, and went to sleep. It was fun, but tiring.

Holiday Updates

Its the middle of the holidays now harhar. I've started playing Dragonica for a while. So in total I've watched 2 movies during the holidays. One is "Where Got Ghost" better known as xia dao xiao on the last day of school itself. Very funny show, a must watch. The second one is G-Force in 3D with my family. G-Force is a show where 3 guinea pigs are dispatched as highly trained spying professionals and are attempting to reveal a secret plan by one rich man.

Overall, you could say the holidays are quite boring. On Monday and Tuesday I had less computer time, and went to the golf range for the first time in a year? x.x

They gathered at my house at 8+. Went to eat breakfast, then reached club at 10am.

Studied Chemistry first for about 1 hour, then Physics for the next 1 hour. 12pm went to play badminton for an hour and then had lunch. We chatted until my dad came and pick us up back home at 2pm. Then played computer and PS2 until 5pm lol.

Wasn't really focusing on studying, but at least we did :P

Finally, we finished the history paper. It wasn't easy, as in not easy passing the time =.= but its over now. Now there are only 3 subjects left

And then we're finally free for a short amount of time before we're back to studying again.

Whichever the case, its unavoidable, just have to bear with it for a few more months before we can flap our wings and claim freedom.

This is so funny I had to blog about it.

Eveyrone knows that whenever the exam is set by the kerajaan, there's bound to be a leak somewhere somehow. So we actually knew the question for Chemistry Paper 3 before it already started. Everyone was happily reading away...

When the exam started, we immediately turned to the last page and our happiness peaked instantly. However, it dropped down almost instantly after that when the teacher gave another question LOL. It was to replace the 2nd question. Apparently the teachers were aware of the leak and managed to pull one last resort in an attempt to annihilate our chances of scoring better marks xD

I could've sworn that the entire Form 5 taking Chemistry sorta screamed at the same time altogether. I hate empirical formulas.

Taiwan Education Fair + Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Went to Hotel Istana for the Taiwan Education Fair today. Whole 5L only 5 people go (Kar Hoong, Wei Nick, Wei Chun, Meng Wai and I). I had to say it was completely out of my range. Everything was in chinese, and I suffered every second in there x.x Seriously, it felt better if I didn't go instead lol. And there were just too many Universities. We ended up getting lots of free gifts.

We left the hotel at 12pm. Reached school at around 12.30pm. Took a taxi to Metro Prima JUSCO to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Price. It was quite a nice movie for me, but the others totally disagreed with me, and I have no idea what's the problem. For Kar Hoong and Wei Chun, I know they won't understand much because they never read the book in the first place. But for Wei Nick, I am totally clueless about his response to the movie. If that's the case, I think I'll watch the last movie myself once its out? o.o

We were walking around, then we met Pn. Hasmizan o.o Boy was I surprised. She said that she just came back from a seminar about P&P things, from 7am until 4.30pm. I was like "WHAT!?" O_O 9 hours+ of lecturing? Now that's even worse than the Taiwan fair. So she went shopping to clear her mind lol.

Kem Integrasi 2009 (Gabungan)

11th to 13th June 2009, we had our Kem Integrasi or Kem Gabungan 2009. This camp is held once every 4 years, and it was compulsory for the 4 main uniformed units to take part, namely the Scouts, St. Johns, Kadet Bomba and Kadet Remaja. For this post I am going to put up A LOT of pictures, so be ready :)

10th June - FIRST DAY
Wasn't the official camp day, but AJks decided to camp near the school to get an early headstart on the preparations, so here's what we have...

The thought of camping outside of school was actually quite fun. There were not enough tents to accomodate everyone, so Nick, Andrew, Joshua and I ended up sleeping on a flat piece of tent cover in the middle of the basketball court. We could only sleep for awhile, and we were soon up talking like nobody's business.

We remembered that we didn't have batteries for our torchlights, so some of us walked to the nearest 7-11 shop to buy some batteries and snacks. The people who went were Soo Hong, Nick, Andrew, Yen Li and me.

We cleaned up the park and left at around 5am. We reached school, but guess what, the guard wasn't at his guard house to open the school gate for us. Chee Weng and Zhen Zhen had to actually climb in to get the guard to open the gate for us. Some guard he is =.= Anyway we discovered that the foyer was quite messed up so we proceeded to clean everything up. We arranged the tables and chairs in a classroom next to the St. John's room to be the AJK's room. We continued until everything was just about done and took in registrations from participants at around 7am+ to 8am.

After the camp participants arrived, they were ushered to the foyer and the opening ceremony was commenced with Lisa Lok as the MC, Chee Qing's (Camp leader) speech and En. Shariff's speech (His mumbling is forever hard to decipher). Later, they were assigned to their classrooms, boys in block C and girls in block A. Soon came the ice breaking session. Camp participants were already sorted out into their respective groups before the camp, so each group had to come up with a group name, a group cheer, and design a flag. Below were the group names of the 8 participating groups:
Group 1 - The First
My comment : I wouldn't call them The First... They kinda well, acted like last =.=

Group 2 - T.W.O (Teenager World Organization)
My comment : Really long name, but makes sense considering they're the 2nd group. Quite inactive in my opinion.

Group 3 - Power Speed
My comment : The leader has real leadership skill and confidence. Some of the members are alright, but the rest are a bit on the down side.

Group 4 - Ninja
My comment : Ninjas are supposed to be fast, but the flag design was a TURTLE =.= Not really practical is it? Nevertheless, they did quite well.

Group 5 - Tic Tac Toe
My comment : Not really outstanding, but not really left behind either. One of the more average groups in the camp.

Group 6 - K. Yeng
My comment : The name and the flag really go together... Aside from that, the group members are quite ok. Like they said, K. Yeng stands for Okay and Yeng. =.="

Group 7 - 7-11
My comment : The most hyperactive group in the entire camp. 7-11 has dominated the treasure hunt.

Group 8 - Boom
My comment : The best flag in the entire camp. They're hyperactive spirit is second to 7-11. One of their members went real high when playing some of the activities.

This is the word BOOM on Team Boom's flag. They needed to use alot of water for the flag, and the painting sorta seeped out from the flag and onto the stage.

The first day of any camp will be quite boring. Same goes to ours, we had only a few games and theory classes. But overall it went well.

Later at night, activities went on as usual. We played Burung Hantu, but I was sleeping to save my energy for the Hide and Seek later. The Hide and Seek was one of the best games that night. I had to change myself to completely black outfits so that I could blend in with the shadows. Hoho I sound like a Night Walker. Anyway they had treasure hunt during midnight, but the teacher scolded us and said we were not allowed to disturb the participants' sleep x.x And that concludes the first day.

11th June - SECOND DAY
Woke up at around 5+. I had to get breakfast ready since I was in charge of food. I was also put in charge of the morning exercise zzz. I had to come up with some lame and stupid moves just to get them going. Had breakfast after that.

Throughout the second day, it was games all the way straight away after breakfast. One of them was mini fear factor. I wasn't sure how they played the other games with
worms and crickets, but I was fascinated by the one station. It was played like this. They prepared a big plastic water tank and filled it near 3 quarters full. They put around 100 small fishes inside and lots of marbles. Since it was fear factor, they put a frog inside as well. The rules are simple, you have to gain as many points as you can in the given time limit. Marbles are worth half a point, fishes are worth 1 point, and the frog is worth 10 points. Catch them and place them in the bucket to officially obtain the score. As for the frog, YOU MUST CATCH IT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS INSTEAD OF USING THE BUCKET. Many people were absolutely scared of this, but not me. I went in the water with the frog ^_^

After that all members were given some time to take their shower and get ready for dinner and the biggest event of the camp - Malam Kebudayaan. It was quite dark at night so I didn't take any photos. What I do know is that ****ed up guard let some outsiders play badminton in the school hall when we already booked it. It was seriously an unfair situation, but we had no choice but to move the PA system and move some tables to the field near the astaka for our Malam Kebudayaan. It went quite well I supposed, until our ex seniors showed up and gave us a good lecture after all the participants went to sleep later that night. End of second day.

13th June - FINAL DAY
The lecture ended at 2am. I arranged 8 chairs into a small "bed" to sleep in. Until around 3am, I felt abit stuffy and uncomfortable so I went to the mini pentas to sleep in the open air. Yen Li was already sleeping there, so I slept as well. At around 5am, a drop of water startled me. It started to rain, and I wasted no time getting out of there. Yen Li was seriously sound asleep, she didn't event feel the rain. I had to wake her up before going back into the AJK room. The wake up call was supposed to be 6.30am, but all the AJKs were so tired that we ended up starting it at 7am xD.

At this point, I was only eager to go home. Only a few more hours to meet my comfortable bed and have a good sleep. I didn't have to prepare breakfast this morning, since there was a food game where participants had to cook their own food to eat. Lucky me I guess.

Asiasoft Gamefest 2009 @ 1 Utama

Yesh, today is the annual Asiasoft Gamefest 2009, and for the first time I went to such a great event with Andrew, Christopher, Kar Hoong and Seng Wai. We went to the Gamefest since we played 2 major games from the company : Maple and Cabal. Knowing that we will get lots of freebies from the event, we decided on going there without hesitation.

I left my house at 11am, and went to pick up Andrew and Christopher first. But they were still showering =.= So I went to pick up Kar Hoong and then went back for the twins. By the time we reached there, it was already 11.40 and Seng Wai was already at the scene. There were lots of computers there, nearly 90. We wasted no time and I went to the redemption counter to exchange my used cash cards for goodies. I managed to trade:

The event started with Cosplay characters going on stage, followed by a Q & A session with some prizes to be won. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to answer anything, and none of us won the lucky draw contest lol.

Later, we went for lunch and came back again to play on some of the computers, although there were only 2 for Maple and 2 for Cabal. Andrew and Christopher were at an unknown location at that time, while Seng Wai and Kar Hoong were playing Cabal on the 2 computers. I saw that the time was almost 3pm, so I registered for the Cabal Combo Challenge, since I had nothing to do. Kar Hoong entered with me, and soon we were being ushered to the computers, and we logged in our characters and started warming up. I didn't get to know my competitors, but to my left was a Lv150 Force Blader, Kar Hoong was to my right, and to his right was a Lv130 Wizard. There was also a Force Shielder behind me. We started to warm up at the training dummies, and it was then time to show off. I managed to get 15 combos for my highest, screw it! Kar Hoong got 14 max. Later the scores were compared, and there was not many people so it only took awhile.

The first place was 16 combos, made by someone in a bandana o.o dunno his char lv and job. There was a tie between me and the Lv130 wizard, both of us managed 15 combos. So we had to go through a tiebreaker. We played rock paper scissors, and he went first. He got a total of 12 combos, and it was then my turn. But I got 12 combos too =.= So he had to try again. 12 combos again, and then I got 13 wahahahaha. So I was 2nd place, and Kar Hoong was actually the 4th. He could not believe it lol.

Teacher's Day

Yes, today our school celebrated Teacher's Day. As a present to all of my class's teachers, I bought them each a mug with their names written on it in golden pen (I did it myself xD). As usual, were ushered to the hall by the prefects. This time I sat more to the right and in the middle. At least I could see and hear properly.

Like any other ceremony, it starts off with speeches. 3 of them, 1 from the head prefect, 1 from the principal (Pn. Wong in this case since Mr. Ong was absent OH YESS!!!), and 1 from the PIBG representative. I had to say that the Prefect's drama wasn't very satisfying this time. The best were the singing from the Form 6 band and Eugene's band. Oh well, at least the teachers are happy :)

And I had one of the most boring days ever. I had nothing to do at all after recess. Sat in the class practically doing nothing. Haizz. Oh well, some day it turned out to be.

Once again I would like to wish all teachers a Happy Teacher's Day!

Mid Year Exam starts

They should swap the time for paper 1 and 2.
Paper 2's time limit is 2 hour and 15 minutes. Finished it in 40 and slept throughout the exam.
Paper 1's time limit is 1 hour and 45 minutes. Finished it 5 minutes before it ended. Wrote around 960+ words (New personal record).
If the time limits were swapped, then it'd be just nice.

Maths paper tomorrow, should be ok. Currently revising add maths (Thursday). Once that's done, I'll start revising on Biology and Chemistry. I swear I must get at least A2 for this 2 subjects... They're needed to study Biotech.

Yeah. No rest. Had to go for activity as usual. Got 2nd place for English essay writing competition. Prize = RM40 CASH not VOUCHER. At least you can do something with money lol.

It Started With Rain

That's how school started today. Mr. Ong was just about to start one of his neverending speeches when it began to rain. Talk about perfect timing! Later, Wei Nick and I went to the library for the english essay writing competition. We were given 1 hour and 30 minutes to finish the essay and the word limit was around 300 words. I was like, wtf? 300 words? I can't write that LITTLE! Geez!

Anyway there were 5 topics to choose from, they were:
1. Our world - our responsibility
2. Being an only child is the best
3. Trees
4. Write a story about a person who was cheated because he was greedy
5. A strange dream I had

When I scanned through the topics, I immediately crossed out number 2 and 3 as my options. Why? Well basically, I'm not and only child, if the topic was "Being the eldest child is the best", then I'd probably write it, but its not, so yeah. As for number 3, I hate open topics that I'm not interested in. Sure I like Biology, but more of animals and not trees =.= I chose to write number 4 in the end.

I used around 1 hour to finish my essay. They said the limit was around 300 words. I could see that most people wrote more than that. As for me, I wrote around 580+ xD. Valerie Low said that she wanted to write 6 pages of nonsense LOL! But anyway, the essay competition made me lose the first lesson of Trigonometry D:

When we went back to class, Pn. Mary was giving out our essay results. I have been waiting for this for days (+.+) I got 33/35. Well, lol. And she was attempting to pull the ears of students who wrote nonsensical or wrong stuff or broken english or whatever @.@

Guess what, Pn. Hasmizan on MC again =.= Haizz, our Bio is like dead? But we all celebrated Ah Chap's birthday, and Pn. Loo was like getting on those people who were trying to eat the birthday cake in class. When her relieve class was gone, everyone was busy munching (I took a bite too xD). And Ai Mei was cam whorring like omg =.=

After school I wanted to find Pn. Yana to pay my school fees, but I couldn't find her at her place. Huai Zhi said she leaves very early. On my way to the astaka, I saw Pn. Felicity. Then I remembered what she told me yesterday. She said that she could find out about how our 4L'08/5L'09 princesses were doing through my blog/friendster links. See how a blog gives help once in a while haha.

And uhrm, haven't got any interesting pics to upload lately, but I will when there is some special occasion or something. Spelling bee competition tomorrow, gonna read my dictionary later @.@

It Rains

Finally, after few days of humid and scorching hot weather, it FINALLY RAINS! I have been hoping for this ever since it stopped raining suddenly. The cooling weather is real pleasant.

Well, I guess nothing much happened recently. We took back our ujian intervensi tests, and many people went to take photos for the photography sessions for each uniform groups, societies, clubs and classes. Today, it was our class's turn for the photography session. Hah, the free pose was great.

Later at class, someone (I think is Huai Zhi) brought his photos from primary school till form 4. When I saw the backdrop for SJK(C) Kepong, flashbacks started to appear within my mind. Ahh yes, the good old days in the school. I guess you really have to enjoy being a kid. Pictures provide a great amount of sentimental value. And Soh Khee told me that she was my classmate in kintergarden. This I definitely cannot remember. I don't have the photo at all, and I certainly have no slight memory of that @.@

Hmm, I think I'm getting better in my chemistry. There were improvements made here and there. Getting the hang of something really feels quite nice :)

Pretty much like any other schooling day. Just felt that I needed to update my blog.

Oh well, today Mr. Lim has declared that the Rubik's cube is a barang larangan from now onwards. I think the trend will come to an end soon lol. And I didn't get any prize for the campaign bag penuh haha. Don't worry guys, there's still one more after the mid year holidays. If I don't get it again, then my 2 year streak is broken lo... Haha... Anyway why do I need another plushie xD

Oh yeah, I saw part of the debate between 5L and 3S. I'm very proud of my class's performance. They debated with such spirit. I didn't get to know the result since I had to attend a kem gabungan meeting. [Update] Kar Hoong just told me that they got 2nd. Oh well, we fought till the last. Better than nothing (:

Rubik Madness

A new trend has made its way and settled nicely in 5L class. Yes, its the all so fun and frustrating Rubik's cube! Started from Kar Hoong, and slowly made its way to other students, the Rubik's is now a "trend" not only in 5L class, but among most other Form 5s as well. I have no idea what's the sudden craze for o.o

Anyway, I borrowed a cube from Wei Nick to bring home to toy around with. I now know how to find the first layer, but I haven't memorized the formulas for the second layer xD But I think its quite ok for me to have this all in one day. What is there to fear anyway? There are lots of teachers for Rubik's in class...

Pretty much a troublesome day

Pn. Hasmizan was absent today again. Zzz. How are we supposed to improve in our Biology if this continues? Why a troublesome day you ask? Well, I had a replacement on Add Maths tuition in Cekap today, which was from 4.25 to 6.10. So I had to stay back in school and wait for my mom to pick me up and send me there straight. Luckily I had a SimpleZ meeting and we kept ourselves busy with Biology.

Later, it began to rain cats and dogs in the later evening, close to 3.40pm. I got abit wet cuz I had to run from the astaka to the canteen. So blablabla, my mom came and Chris, Andrew and I went to tuition.

After tuition,my mom asked me to walk to my aunt's office which was just opposite the street. Took me less than 10 minutes to get there. It was major traffic jam that time, and my mom decided to use a shortcut... Turns out it became a longcut... Seems that luck wasn't quite on my side today. But anyways, it was fun to wave and talk in sign language to the girls in the other cars in the jam =x

Reached home by 7.30. My mom was lazy to cook dinner by then, so we had a quick shower and left for dinner outside at 8.00pm. By the time we finished dinner and got home, it was 8.45pm. I wanted to finish the moral project by tonight wei...

Alala, I've just finished sorting out the pictures to be printed. I still haven't taken pictures for the kekeluargaan part. I shall do it tomorrow. Right now I should finish at least 1 report...

English Tution funny case?

I was stunned for a few seconds lol.

Today during English tuition class, teacher asked us to choose a question out of three and write an essay about it. So most of us were writing :
TV programs have bad influence on children. Discuss.

So we wrote and wrote and wrote. I was writing my 2nd last paragraph when I felt something funny in my nose. Then suddenly a drop of blood came out =.= I just silently went to the kitchen where my teacher was preparing dinner and asked for some tissue. She saw that I had a nose bleed and she immediately go prepare some ice LOL. She put the ice cubes in a cloth and put it near my neck. She says it'll pull the blood down away from the nose o.o

Even so, it only lasted awhile. I have bloodstain on my pants now =.= So I returned back to my seat. THEN only the class knew I had a nosebleed (They were really focused into writing their essay, or are they not hehe). Then this conversation followed: (I can't remember the true conversation xD)

Sherman : 是啦。
Yee Yan and Wei Nick :小君，你刚刚做了什么事。。。突然间会流鼻血的。。。

Majlis Minggu Kesihatan + Fashion show!

All students were asked to wear PJ attire straight to school today. Why? Because it was the launching of Minggu Kesihatan. Seems that everybody was in the mood (Cuz we get to skip the first 2 classes? xD) Anyway, we left our bags at the assembly ground and proceeded to the field to began the warming up session.

First off, a speech by Pn. Wong (Why do they ALWAYS have a speech >_>) followed by a rope skipping demonstration by the Taekowndo team. Their performance is based all on 1 day's practice. Its amazing how they can do so well with just 1 day of practice. Next, we had senam robik lead by the PJ teacher of our 5L class girls (forgot her name =x). Some of our 5L classmates were also involved in the demonstration, such as Ve Nee, Soh Khee, Suraya, Shwuyi... It was overall ok at the beginning, until they started to dance to the erm what? Err... Was it para para? Or something. I don't know, it was super susah to learn such steps in such a short time.

Even so, it was fun to see the teachers struggling to learn too xD. Yes, all the teachers had to do the exercises with us. Quoted from Ai Mei :"Cik Sharifah damn high today." It was really true, she was dancing away happily. Sadly, Pn. Rahimi was no where to be found!!! NUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!

And then they ask us to dance the.. poco-poco (Or bocor-bocor I dunno the spelling). Haizz, I have danced this song during last year's Merdeka performance, the Lance Corporal camp and now here zzz. But our class was the best in my opinion :D Nearly EVERYBODY knew how to dance it haha.

We went back to class after that. Then during Sivik class, En. Mahyuddin came in our class and said that he will be replacing En. Shariff. The whole class was like wtf? Omg we're gonna miss Shariff and his super lame cold jokes D: But anyway, we managed to bug him into letting us go to the hall to see the FASHION SHOW! Yes, today was the competition, and Andrew and Chris were taking part! I gotta see this LOL!

We argued with En. Firdaus and the prefect outside the hall. They kept claiming that there was no place when there was A BIG BUNCH OF SPACE ENOUGH FOR A FEW CLASSES. Seriously, why are they do stingy (Stupid protocol thing I guess). By the time we went in, nearly all of the girls have finished. It was Wan Ru's turn when we went in, and she was dressed in er... I don't know what type of dress it is, but its very very colorful. She was like a walking rainbow xD. Too bad we missed Ai Jia's performance, but they said she didn't answer the judges questions so her chance getting in the finals was 0.

But anyways, we got to see all of the girls contestants, and their dresses was superb. There was one girl who dressed VERY MUCH LIKE A GUY. EVEN HER HAIR LOOKED LIKE A GUY'S. I think Mun Yee's dress was the best though. She wore a blue kimono dress with an orange ribbon tied round her waist and pink flowers were printed on the kimono. Reminds me of the pink kimono in Cabal.

Then the guys. When it was Chun Keat's turn, the whole 5L class SCREAMED and CHEERED for him. His question was the BEST I'VE HEARD:
Pn. Radziyah : Apakah ciri-ciri wanita idaman anda?
EVERYBODY WAS STARING AT MIN YI THAT INSTANT. ROFL! And he said a big bunch of things, all good of course. He mentioned "ada ilmu pengetahuan yang tinggi" and when Huai Zhi heard this, he said "Aiyo Min Yee,你这个就没有，应该不是你了." I WAS LIKE WTFROFLOLMAO! But Chun Keat's performance was good.

I was rather disappointed with the other portion of the guys. Either they couldn't answer the question, or they dressed like nothing. Even I could pull out better clothes from my wardrobe. Sheeesh! Even so, Jia Rong's outfit was the best among all the boy contestants. He first came out in a "Chai Shen" outfit, and then slowly removed piece by piece and revealed a black samfu. And he took a fake scimitar and started slashing around. Classic. And then Andrew's turn. He was dressed as a cowboy! He came out, with his black cowboy hat and shades, turning and whipping with his rope made of rubber bands. I wouldn't say he looked cool, but more of cute since his height destroyed the cool thing LOL. And then Chris came, dressed as an engineer. But I thought he should've gotten yellow boots. THEN he'd be PHUA CHU KANG!

Unfortunately, neither Ai Jia nor Chun Keat qualified for the finals. Most of the class was disappointed, they could tolerate Ai Jia's becasue she didn't answer anything. But what we could not actually tolerate is the fact that among the 5 male finalists, 4 were Malays. I don't think I need to elaborate this matter much, its obvious what they were thinking. Judges were all malays so, =/

But we had fun watching the show. And during Chemistry lesson, Miss Lim was busy with some urusan so Cik Veny came for relieve class for the first lesson. Miss Lim came later during the second lesson. We weren't in the mood to study that time, so she gave us free time to finish off other stuff. Ai Mei, Shir Yee, Hui Nee, Joyce and I engaged in conversation with Miss Lim. They asked her about her life, boyfriend and stuff... Lol. I had fun listening wei haha.

Alright then, end of story.

Ok the title is roflolmao. But that was one of the incidents that happened at school today.

The day started off pretty fine, add maths. Followed by English. Alright, I shall finish this is one sentence.

April 7th 2009, class 5L of SMK Kepong Baru has achieved the highest level of silence ever during English lesson. Lets have an applause! *claps* Need I say more? :P

And then, after recess, the whole class went to the Bio lab only to find out that Pn. Hasmizan was on MC. As soon as we returned and settled down in class, Huai Zhi says that Ai Jia was stuck in the girl's toilet o.o

I was like wtf. And around 60% of the class went outside the girl's toilet to try and budge open the door. It was like they've never seen someone trapped inside a toilet before. Its real weird you know, you stick your head outside the classroom, look to the left, and you see a big bunch of students outside the toilet... You'd wonder what's going on in there... hehe...

But anyways Ai Jia was released from her somewhat "terrifying" experience. And En. Herman said "Woo, panic har?"

I seriously do not understand, what is there so good to talk about in class?

She already gave us homework to do, you all make noise. She gives extra homework because of the noise, you all make even more noise, to the point where she even left the class, but it was near end of the school period anyway.

The noise level is also affecting me. A normal essay takes me around 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and I can barely write half an essay in the freaking hour. Thanks alot guys, 1 more essay and comprehension undone in school. Damn it la!

I am very, deeply, gravely disappointed with the class's noise level.

Confessions of a Shopaholic

Today, went to 1U to watch this show with Andrew and Chris. Since it was their birthday 2 days ago, I bought them the tickets to the show today. We didn't manage to buy tickets for the 12pm show at GSC, since I was still at Andrew's house testing Left 4 Dead on his laptop =x so we bought tickets for the 2pm show at TGV instead. While waiting, we went to various IT shops to find the cheapest pendrive since the twins needed it. Andrew bought a 8GB pendrive while Chris bought a 4GB pendrive. As for me, I don't need one since my iPod can store up to 30 GB.

I seriously do not know how girls can shop for hours. We were damn bored after a while. Obviously we suck at shopping. Soon we were watching the show Confessions of a Shopaholic. Its a very nice show, and girls of course should watch it. The phrase shop till you drop is really fitting for the movie. Watch it and find out.

And of course, when there's twins, there's Maple, and when there's twins and Maple, there's....

Today has been a real laugh for me, especially during assembly. It was the opening ceremony for minggu sejarah and sivik, and the opening speeches were ABSOLUTELY BORING! But, at the drama part, it was super hilarious. Damn that "guard" was sure lucky eh? Hahaha... He was being a mimic, trying to follow the dancers move. Lol, even Mr. Ong, Mr. Lim and Pn. Wong had a good laugh. Who wouldn't laugh at such a thing?

And the ceramah on history today was uhh... Boring? Well anyway, there was a lizard that suddenly appeared and caused a minor problem with lots of screaming. The lizard was running here and there and went under my chair. Pn. Radziah gave me a cup and I trapped the little nigga. I took it outside and released it (why did everyone have to clap =.=) And I got called Cicakman wtf.

English oral was ok. I got 26/30.

Me and my friends started to get a little more serious on the studying side, so Karhoong decided to form a study group and hold a meeting once or more every week and touch up on our studies. After some very long and unecessary considerations, we came up with the group name - SimpleZ. Yes, not really overrated, but still, its simple.

The group is still recruiting classmates, and there will definitely be someone who has his or her strongest subject. That person will be the "tutor" and guide the weaker ones into understanding the subject more.

Currently, our group members are :

Oh damn! The holidays were just starting to get fun! D:

Anyways, the day started with a program sekolah selamat? It was organized by the school's kelab pencegahan jenayah. March Holidays - Boring much?

Alright, its almost the end for the March holidays. And it has been a boring week except for Wednesday. I went out to watch the movie "Dragonball Evolution" with Wei Nick, Zhen Yu and Seng Wai. I thought the movie was ok, but many people commented that it was boring.

Other than that, the things I did during the holidays were:
- Badminton
- Swimming
- Left 4 Dead
- Cabal

Hah I didn't know why I suddenly started replaying Cabal again. I continued to level (Its SOO MUCH EASIER than Maple) and reached Transcender wakakaka! Imma save alz for Mithril stuff now. As for Left 4 Dead, I unlocked more achievements (I think I've got almost everything now o.o). Oh and me love being dah supah sneakeh hunter. GYYEEAAAAHHHHH!!!

Oh, and to that witch who murdered me at the finale in Blood Harvest, I will find you...

SMK Kepong Baru Sports Day 2009

Today is SMK Kepong Baru's 29th Sports Day. I woke up at 5.20am today, and reached school by 6am. KRS members gathered up in a classroom and got dressed and prepared for the final marching. We had to arrange and move some chairs at the astaka, and were bathed in sweat before the marching even started ==

The weather was very cooling at first, it was drizzling a little. Unfortunately for us, the rain slowly cleared and the sun began to appear. I was hoping for it to reain heavier... And that Mr. Ong said bersyukur kepada Tuhan for the good weather. Darn it zzz... To make it worse, 2 KRS members fainted. Why did they wait until now to faint? It was very disappointing...

I didn't watch all the sports events, I was too lazy to bother. I walked around school and chatted with friends. At the end, KRS and Kadet Bomba had to form lines to seperate the 4 coloured houses for the ending ceremony. My goodness, we had to sit under the blazing hot sun while prizes were given out.

For cheerleading, first place goes to red house, followed by blue, green and yellow. I was surprised that yellow actually lost to green, I thought their performance was better. Anyhow, gratz to Suki and her group for getting the first place.

School Band won the marching. I don't think I was surprised. Their drum beat was so fast, it was a real challenge to actually keep up with their tempo while marching, because we had to use our hands while they don't.

Anyway, the grand finale was
Champion - Red
Runner up - Green
Third - Yellow
Fourth - Blue

This year red house sapu everything lah.

An Exhausting Week...

This week, the school is having 3 days of continous rehearsal for the upcoming sports day. My comment? Stupidly tiring. Its not fun to always be standing still under the hot blazing sun and marching. Its seriously tiring, and it makes me even more suntanned than before ==

Tomorrow is the full rehearsal, and we must wear our own full uniforms. Great, things will get even hotter tomorrow. Hopefully we will only be asked to do it for 2 times only, 3 times is really going off the bat.

I'm not the only one who's suffering you know, the entire kontigen perbarisan is having the same thing. I saw quite a number of people who fainted on the spot, especially the band members =x

Oh well, time to get some good rest and prepare for the final rehearsal.

BM singing competition finals... Preparations began with a real worrying start - Eugene was absent at the last minute, meaning there was no guitarist... That's when SOME PEOPLE started staring at me. #^&%@^@%^!$#%!@&^#% Yes I had to endure some last minute coaching before I actually went on stage to play. UNFORTUNATELY, there was a problem with the amplifier, and I had to stop playing on the last song (I received a slight electric shock when I touched the guitar strings and the amp made a real horrible screeching sound). Oh well.

But anyway, the results were announced, first place goes to 4K (LOL) and my class got 2nd place. It was quite satisfying, since that meant that we were the first among all form 5 competitiors. But I must say that the PA system was really rotten == Zoeii's solo got cut halfway through because of the mic's 1 second failure.

There was a little screaming parteh in the foyer later on. Each person from my class received a litle present that contained a mech. pencil, a black pen, an eraser and a box of 0.5mm pencil leads. Alot of boys were complaining about their mech. pencils because it was PINK in colour. Lol. Mine is blue x)

During chemistry lesson today, Miss Lim had LOTS of comments about her outfit today. Lol. I heard "pretty, sexy, beautiful" and probably some more which I didn't hear. One thing though - her perfume smells nice x)

Awesomeness Day

Today we had the BM singing competition, and quite a big number of classes showed up. My class was the last class to go up on stage. Starting from class 3S, we watched each classes's performance. Our biggest competitor was of course 5E who was just next door. Their performance was quite good, but I was confident we could do better. And seriously, I had to bring the mic in front of me cuz most of the guys never memorized the lyrics properly so I had to cover them ==

Anyway, 4 classes got to the finals, they are : 4K, 5S, 5E and 5L.

And what was more, 5E sort of accused us for copying them, cuz there were 2 songs that were the same. Anyway there's a little arguement between the 2 classes... Its just a singing competition.

好听的话，就是 peer competition.
难听的话，就是 plagiarism and jealousy.

From a positive side, it could be counted as competitive spirit that keeps us going. On the contrary, it could also be a negative sign, meaning copycat. Whatever the case, we shall find out in the finals tomorrow.
